This Privacy Policy describes how Triangle City Digital (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Ranked Revenue Toolkit (“the Toolkit”), accessible at app.rankedrevenue.com.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plaintext.
Usage data. We track basic usage metrics such as the number of searches performed per month to enforce plan limits. We do not sell or share this data.
Cookies. We set a single session cookie (“rr_session”) to keep you logged in. This cookie contains your name and email only. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain access to the Toolkit
- To send transactional emails (password resets, account notices)
- To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
The Toolkit relies on the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Vercel: hosting and deployment
- Upstash Redis: encrypted data storage
- OpenAI: AI content generation (Website Builder feature)
- Google Ads API: keyword search volume data (Opportunity Finder feature). We access this API on your behalf to retrieve publicly available keyword metrics. No Google Ads campaign data belonging to any user is accessed or stored.
- Resend: transactional email delivery
- Ahrefs: domain rating data (Domain Authority feature)
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Keyword analysis results are cached for up to 60 days to reduce API costs. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
5. Security
Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2 with SHA-256 and 100,000 iterations. Session cookies are scoped to the application domain. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
The Toolkit is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Toolkit after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We will update the “Last updated” date above.
